Muskie's Busy Weekend
Our intrepid mascot, Muskie, had a very busy weekend, visiting all the activity going on in Brookline the weekend of October 23rd and 24th!
On Friday night, he stopped by the Spaghetti Dinner at the Brookline Community Church. Turtles don't eat pasta, but the dessert table looked tempting!
On Saturday, he had a very busy morning, stopping by the Friends of the Brookline Public Library Book and Bake Sale at the Annex. He found some great books and plenty of homemade baked goods to choose from.
Then it was off to the Ghost Train Rail Trail Race at Camp Tevya. He was there as the first runner completed the first leg of the 100-mile 24-hour race!
One last stop at the Brookline Historical Society to see the progress on the barn. The floors came out beautifully and volunteers were working on finishing the siding.
Then it was back to the Library for a quiet rest of the weekend, reading books and keeping an eye on things for us.
